- Anonymized versions of the manuscript will be sent to the two referees along with a manuscript feedback form.
- Once both referees send their reviews, the editorial team will integrate and assess the recommendations of the referees to come up with a decision: decline based on review, accept pending revision, or accept with no revision. In each case, the decision is communicated to the author(s) with the anonymized reviews.
- Authors who are asked to revise their manuscripts will submit a revised draft as well as a cover letter that details point by point how they addressed the referee comments.
- The editorial team performs a final editorial screen to ensure that the author has satisfactorily addressed the referee comments. After clearing, authors will be notified about the final publication decision of their manuscript.
