The UP Diliman Department of Sociology warmly invites you to an activity titled “Capability-Building to Combat Gender-Based Violence”—an activity that combines a lecture on recognizing and addressing sexual harassment and other forms of gender-based violence (GBV) in public spaces with hands-on self-defense training.

This activity will be held on March 26, 2026 (Thursday), from 1:00 PM to 4:20 PM at the CSSP Wellness Center, University of the Philippines Diliman.

The forum will feature Asst. Prof. Janice Zamora-Morales and members of the UP Women’s Judo Team.

Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable athletic attire, such as leggings or joggers, a T-shirt, and sneakers. For safety and mobility, wearing shorts is discouraged.
